Work update
Work has resumed after the Easter holidays. Work is now underway on the third and fourth floor in section one. The third floor is scheduled for completion at the end of April 2026. We currently have 22 workers working in the first section, including plumbers, electricians, painters, plasterers, floor polishers and cleaners.
Both third and fourth floors in the first section are therefore completely blocked.
Floor 5 will be handed over on Monday 27th, to begin renovation works.
Furniture’s
Furniture delivery for sections one and two has been planned for September/October.
Owners’ storage rooms inside the apartment
The doors in most storage rooms will be opened as plumbers will replace insulation on the A/C pipes.
The new bathroom countertops
Corian, solid surface (polyester resin with fine homogeneous mineral fillers, ATH –
aluminum trihydrate).
Color of apartments’ walls
The apartments can be painted in two different colors. Owner can choose between white/gray (CL017) or white/beige (CL005) color.
Vertical water pipes from the first to the tenth floor
Work is underway to replace the 16 vertical water pipes that supply the apartments with water. 7 of the vertical water pipes have already been replaced.
The renovation has already started on infrastructure and apartments in section 1 of the building. It is expected that the renovation of apartments in section 2 of the building, will commence in end of June this year. It is further anticipated that this work will take 3 – 4 months and therefore be completed by in the middle of October. The renovation work will start at the top floor and proceed downwards and finally do the ground floor. One floor will be unavailable at the time.
Your apartment will not be available for your occupation whilst the renovation work is ongoing. You should therefore be cautious about booking and preferably avoid it altogether.
The financing of the renovation of the apartments in the rental pool will be co-funded by owners and our hotel company, LCHO. This has been discussed with and communicated to owners in December last year.
It is hoped that all owners will be supportive in ensuring success of the renovation project. There are many details that needs to be considered, and it will be of great assistance if owners are responding promptly to the request above to make their requirements clear early. The renovation project will be executed while the other parts of the resort remain fully operative. While every effort is made to ensure the comfort and safety of owners and guests, it is hoped that minor inconveniences are tolerated during the execution of the project. It is necessary that owners ensure that their bookings are coordinated with the project timetable. It will be costly both in terms of money and time if the flow of the project is interrupted. Please ensure flexibility in flight tickets and other arrangements if bookings are made near the renovation period for your apartment.
The common area renovation project main component is upgrade/renewal of water pipes in the building. This work is progressing well. Also refreshing hallways are included with new lighting and paint.
The forward plan for the renovation project is to make a pause from October and resume work after Easter 2027. This is done to ensure that both owners and guests can fully enjoy the resort in the high season. It is anticipated that the renovation will be finally completed during the autumn of 2027.
The mandatory work that will be carried out in your apartment is:
– Completely new LED lighting will be installed in the living room, kitchen, bedroom and balcony.
– Several new power outlets are installed in bedrooms.
– Plumbing work: Water pipes in the attic and toilet will be replaced. New lining of A/C pipes and sealing of joints.
– Deep polishing of all floors in the apartment in the bedrooms.
– A new frame around the headboard will be installed.
– In the bathroom, the former dark natural stone sink is removed and replaced with a new white countertop and sink.
– Various pieces of furniture will be replaced with a sofa bed in the living room and various chairs.
– Minibar and desks will be foiled, including bedside tables.
– The apartment will be completely newly painted. You can choose between two color options: 1. Juno Combina CL005 2. Juno Combina CL017
The hallways are being painted, and new LED lighting is being installed on the hallways ceiling.
The board, in agreement with Radisson, has decided that we will wait with the furniture so that Radisson will be involved in the selection of furniture. The current furniture will be kept until the new ones arrive. It is important that the new furniture fits into the actual operation of the hotel. It is up to the owner to decide whether to keep some of the furniture or accessories in the apartment.
